Griffith is one of Australia's leading research universities, consistently ranked in the top 2% globally. Its Gold Coast campus, Griffith's largest, sits within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct alongside Gold Coast University Hospital, with teaching and research spanning almost all study areas and a strong focus on health, medicine and dentistry.

The campus supports multidisciplinary research across biomedical discovery, clinical trials, advanced design and prototyping, environmental science, engineering, IT, business and humanities.
