Half of all global deaths will be from cancer by 2030. The Cancer and Ageing Research Program team of leading and emerging researchers are working to uncover the universal processes of what goes wrong in our cells as we age that allow cancers and ageing diseases to develop. CARP is identifying the changes that do occur in our cells and its genome which makes us age and develop ageing diseases such as cancer, arthritis and Alzheimer's disease. The CARP Team aim to develop therapeutics and treatments that can stop cancers and ageing diseases before they start.
