Translational Science Hub (TSH)

Sanofi

The Translational Science Hub is a partnership between Sanofi, the Queensland Government, Griffith University, and the University of Queensland to explore the next generation of vaccines to improve public health.

The Translational Science Hub links Australia-based researchers with Sanofi scientists at the company’s mRNA Centre of Excellence in France and the US with three key focus areas:

1. optimise mRNA platform technology
2. advance the development of vaccine candidates
3. bring together the local academic and industry network.

The first clinical trials have already begun for vaccine candidates in influenza, RSV and the world’s first vaccine for chlamydia – one of the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections that can cause infertility.
