Facility for Targeted Radiometals in Cancer (AFTRiC)

The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) Facility for Targeted Radiometals in Cancer (AFTRiC) enables research focused on discovering better ways of specifically targeting and delivering therapeutic payloads to cancer cells, measuring their effects on tissue and translating them into clinical use. AFTRiC includes equipment and instrumentation to enable development of new targeted alpha therapies. Alpha therapies have the potential to deliver greater cancer killing effect with less damage to healthy tissues.

AFTRiC was established through investment by the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, National Imaging Facility under the Australian Government's National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Team and the Ian Potter Foundation.
