The world needs coastal wetlands. Seagrass meadows, mangrove forests and saltmarshes are high-value habitats providing many benefits to humanity.

GLOW are delivering science support that promotes coastal wetland conservation.

The international, interdisciplinary team of the Global Wetlands Project advances research under three themes: measuring health of wetlands, improving action to protect and restore coastal wetland habitats; and engaging authentically with communities and managers in care for coastal wetlands.

We believe open and accessible science will accelerate coastal conservation.

We develop and make available online tools to make our science accessible and allow you to gain new insights on dynamic coastal ecosystems.
