The Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) is a science-based organisation with primary focus on earth materials, and on the requirements to extract, recover and provide those materials for economic use.

The range of activities undertaken by GSQ is diverse, and includes circular economy as applied to earth materials, including provenance and traceability to support demonstration of responsible supply credentials and to support circularity of materials.
