The Cancer and Palliative Care Outcomes Centre (CPCOC) is a leading transdisciplinary health services research centre embedded within the Centre for Healthcare Transformation at QUT. We deliver research-driven innovations that improve the quality, experience and outcomes of care for people affected by cancer, serious illness and palliative care needs. Our researchers have particular strengths in palliative and end of life care, paediatric and youth palliative care, and cancer survivorship, including symptom management and nutrition.
Working closely with consumers, clinicians, health services and government, we develop and evaluate evidence-based models of care that reflect people’s priorities and lived experiences. Our collaborative approach, strong partnerships and rigorous research capability enable real-world impact across policy and practice.
